Artist in Residence Program

Since Redwood Raks began in 2008, we have had an Artist in Residence program designed to offer free rehearsal space to choreographers and new dance companies to develop repertoire. In exchange, artists add a note about being an artist in residence in programs and agree to perform their new work at Redwood Raks in one of our showcases.

Usually artists in residence submit a brief proposal of a project they'd like to work on and we find rehearsal time at the studio that will work for them around classes and other events. Most of the time the project should take place in the FALL, SPRING or SUMMER months.
